I am a midwife (B.Sc.) and a qualified paediatric nurse, with many years of experience in various areas of nursing. Most of my professional experience has been in neonatal and premature infant care, as well as in the delivery room.

I provide safe, respectful and holistic care for families throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period. At the heart of my independent midwifery practice is the aim of empowering parents and strengthening their confidence in their new roles. I support families through guidance, counselling and personalised care, from pregnancy through to the postnatal recovery period and beyond.

In addition to individual midwifery care, I offer one-to-one consultations and a variety of courses, which are also available to families who are not receiving ongoing care from me. These include antenatal classes that actively involve birth partners. Furthermore, having completed additional training as a pelvic floor exercise instructor, I offer pelvic floor health and exercise classes in Duisburg.

I am currently undertaking further training to become a health and wellness coach, which will enable me to expand my services to include more comprehensive guidance on nutrition, relaxation, building resilience and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. From 2027 onwards, I also plan to introduce courses in autogenic training and progressive muscle relaxation — but more on that when the time comes.

Creating a safe and welcoming space where families feel comfortable asking questions, expressing uncertainties and sharing their individual needs is particularly important to me. I take the time to listen and approach every family with openness, understanding and empathy.

My practice is grounded in current medical evidence and tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of each family. I place particular importance on helping families develop health-promoting habits, supportive structures and resilience within their own unique circumstances. My goal is to empower families to build these foundations for themselves and integrate them into their everyday lives.

I work with mindfulness, professional responsibility and mutual respect, treating every family as an equal partner in their care. My approach is built on trust, empathy and the belief that every family should feel confident and supported in finding their own way.
